Sandra Klingbeil's original mixed media watercolor - "Believe" has been accepted in The Mighty Midwest Biennial at New Visions Gallery in Marshfield, Wisconsin!
The competition was open to artists residing in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota.
Work was selected by Paul Miller Kline, Professor of Art Emeritus of Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Virginia.
"Believe" was one of eighty-eight other works of art selected from over 900 submissions.
The Mighty Midwest Biennial will run September 8, 2003 to October 18, 2003 at New Visions Gallery.
"Believe" will be on exhibit at the Black River Art Gallery in Downtown Medford until the beginning of September
.Sandra Klingbeil is a self-taught artist having her first exhibitions at the age of 17. She has participated in shows or had her work displayed in Marshfield, Wausau, Stevens Point, Madison, Appleton, and Bayfield,Wisconsin and Columbus, Ohio.
Her paintings have been sold to private collectors in many states.
She currently manages the Black River Art Gallery in Medford, Wisconsin. Sandra teaches watercolor classes throughout the year from her studio located on the upper level of the Black River Art Gallery.
