The Black River Art Gallery would like to congratulate Terry Redlin on 25 Years of creating some of America's Finest Limited Edition Artwork! Terry Redlin started this painting last year with an idea he had for years. As these deer watch from a distance, they are curious and acceptive of the small group of fisherman setting up camp. Man and his friends can together truly enjoy the beauty of day's end as the ever-changing lights at sunset create a colorful display over the land and water.
We would encourage you to stop, call or email if you are interested in Terry's 25th Anniversary Print, "Sharing the Sunset". The edition size is quite small, only 2500 total signed and numbered prints, far fewer than the edition sizes. 1978 - When Hadley House released Terry's 1st limited edition print in 1978, "Back from the Fields," all 960 prints sold out instantly.
1981 - Terry first won Minnesota Duck Stamp Competition.
1985 - For the 1st time Terry's art is offered as a limited edition collector plate, "Evening Glow."
1991 to 1999 - For nine consecutive years terry was named America's most popular artist by surveys in U.S. ART Magazine.
1992 - Terry completed his ambitious work, the America the Beautiful series. All 8 limited editions were released over 3 years ending in January 1995.
1997 - The Redlin Art Center opened June 6 in Watertown, South Dakota, Terry's hometown.
2000 - The one millionth visitor to the Redlin Art Center was welcomed in July.
2003 - Terry accepts a toast to his 25th anniversary with "Sharing the Sunset" and rolls back edition size to only 2500 signed and numbered prints.
