Featured Artist: Warren Peterson

Photo Artwork of Warren PetersonWarren Peterson has been interested in photography ever since his senior year of high school when he signed up for the new photography course, which his school offered twenty-four years ago. The course taught the basics of black and white photography from shooting to developing and printing. He has always enjoyed doing black and whites because the photograph's subject can be appreciated without the distraction of color. That being said, Warren is now working on creating the same results in color. His wide variety of interests has resulted in subjects ranging from people to insects, buildings to plants, and anything in between. Whatever he feels will make a pleasing image; he will try to capture on film.

Although photography has never been his main career, it's always been a serious hobby. He has photographed weddings for friends and relatives, promotional photos for a magician's brochure; he has been a stringer for three different newspapers, one in Wisconsin and two in Illinois. He is currently photographing for his own enjoyment.
